This program is designed for those seeking management positions or training in the world's largest employing and most diversified industry. It covers many aspects of management, relating specifically to the management of hotels, motels, resorts and more.

Also included are SuperHost, developed by Tourism BC; Food Safe, developed cooperatively by government, business, health, safety, and education; Serving It Right, developed by the British Columbia Liquor Control & Licensing Branch.

International Trade & Business Management

Sprott-Shaw Community College is proud to be a delivery partner of the FITTskills Program (Forum for International Trade Training). The FITTskills program focuses on the practical aspects of international business, including logistics, nation-to-nation marketing opportunities, trade finance, market entry strategies and international management techniques. All FITTskills courses meet the standards of international business and trade training as prescribed by the International Association of Trade Training Organizations (IATTO).

Successful completion of any four FITT skills courses provides the student with an FITT Certificate, accredited by IATTO. Successful completion of all FITT skills courses provides the student with an FITT Diploma, accredited by IATTO, and satisfies the educational requirement for the CITP (Certified International Trade Professional) designation.
