Passport To Higher Learning
Sprott-Shaw Community College is also pleased to announce the creation of a “Passport to Higher Learning” scholarship program. Students from grade 8 through 12 have the opportunity to earn up to $1,000.00 in scholarship awards while attending high school.
The scholarship amount can be applied towards any of Sprott-Shaw’s degree or diploma programs. Students will need to bring or mail their passport to one of our Sprott-Shaw advisors upon completion of each grade. Along with the passport we will require a copy of their high school transcript and school ID. The school will stamp the awarded scholarship based on the grade completed. Students will also be able to collect awards from previous grades. The value of the stamps are:
- Grade 8 - $ 100.00
- Grade 11 - $ 150.00
- Grade 9 - $ 125.00
- Grade 12 - $ 250.00
- Grade 10 -$ 125.00
- Bonus - $ 250.00
All Scholarships have no cash value, are non-transferable, and apply to tuition only Grade 12 students are eligible to receive an additional $250.00 scholarship bonus upon completion of an extra credit report.* Some conditions may apply.
