Formed in 1994, in response to burgeoning demand in China and other Asian countries for Western-based business and technology education needs, CIBT School of Business and Technology Corp. has established itself as a leading educational investor and business school providing business and technology education, corporate training and other academic degree programs.

On December 17, 2007 Sprott Shaw Community College was acquired by CIBT Education Group to make the family of educators even larger, spanning across two continents (Now that is awesome!). It is a very exciting time or the college with future expansion in Canada and overseas.  CIBT Education Group is listed on the Stock Exchange under the symbol MBA.
