East Vancouver College Campus

The East Van Team welcomes you to the Sprott Shaw College – East Vancouver Campus! Student satisfaction is our main priority. For over 10 years, we have been working closely with the community; incorporating students and staff with the various projects like continuing food drives for the food bank and fundraisers for the Aids Society. Located less than 50 meters from the Rupert Skytrain Station, we offer students an easy and accessible way to get here. If you choose to drive, our campus has lots of parking! We are located off Hwy #1 at the Grandview Hwy exit. Because of our easy access we attract students from Vancouver’s West Side, East Side, Burnaby North and South, and have a growing population from both North Vancouver and Squamish (where many of our students carpool from).

The East Side is best summarized by its diversity… East Vancouver, BC, Canada has a strong geographic and community identity. This identity is about a diverse community living together within a dynamic urban community. This diverse identity is strengthened by many active ethnic communities, like “The Drive”, a vibrant artistic area. Like our mission statement “To Teach To Guide To Learn” we provide effective training in high growth employment areas in a friendly, professional environment. We train Practical Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Pharmacy Assistants, Medical Office Assistants, Community Service Workers, Business Managers, Administrative Assistants, and Unit Clerks. Experienced instructors, professionals in their industry, are willing to go that extra mile their students in order to ensure the students maximum success.

Many of our courses use the G2 system, an easy-to-access, environmentally responsible system that will allow you to learn using modern technology. As well, many courses also use e-book technology. Of course, textbooks are also available if you prefer.

Sprott Shaw’s commitment to student employment is illustrated by the creation of our innovative job placement assistance program, which is always accessible to students. We offer FREE lifetime upgrading and refresher courses.

“The only dreams impossible to reach are the ones you never pursue.”

Call us and allow us at the East Vancouver Campus to help you achieve your dream…
