Financial Administrator - Various Locations

Reporting to the Campus Director, the Financial Administrator provides financial and administrative support to the campus and Head Office; ensuring that each Sprott Shaw campus is reporting accurate financial information at each period end. This is an on-going open call for applications. You will only be contacted should you qualify for a position that is available. Please apply using the form below.


  • Enter enrolments and updates into in-house database system FAST
  • Meet with new enrolments to review method of payment
  • Assess breakdown and negotiation of student loans and grant cheques
  • Process refunds when required
  • Verify all financial information on various documents
  • Update and maintain all student accounts in FAST
  • Process student status, transfers, and invoices for period end
  • Participate in regular teleconference calls with peers and the Vice-President Finance
  • Produce reports and review with Campus Director
  • In smaller campuses, this role may be combined with another role
  • Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretions of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing

Qualifications and Education

  • Post-secondary Education with a certificate/diploma in book-keeping or accounting
  • 2 years’ work related experience

  • Knowledge of MS Office and Database Systems
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
