Meet Our Maple Ridge Instructors
Callum M – Special Education Teaching Assistant (SETA)
With over 7 years in the special education field and 2 years of post-secondary teaching experience with the Special Education Teaching Assistant (SETA) program, I have extensive experience in both the education and special education field. To the classroom, I bring my own personal experiences as an education assistant and my knowledge of the British Columbia school system.
Brett R – Community Support Worker – Social Services (CSWSS)
While earning my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, I gained extensive experience supporting children, teenagers, and adults affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, comorbid conditions, complex needs, and addiction. Alongside teaching, I continue to work in social services and support clients using person-centered and strengths-based approaches.
Rika R – Business
I began teaching in 2004 and have been with Sprott Shaw since 2013 as a Business instructor for the core Business Fundamentals and Administrative courses. My career has a firm foundation in customer service and office administration. I am also certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist (2013) and Microsoft Office Master (2000). I enjoy making my classes engaging by bringing character and unforgettable scenarios in the classroom.
