  • This is a comprehensive course designed to allow students to integrate, apply, and further develop previously acquired conceptual knowledge.
  • Including but not limited to patient management techniques, taking dental histories, and charting, moisture control, armamentarium operating.
  • Maintaining dental equipment and sterilization, fundamental aspects and skill sets of collaborative assisting at chair-side in a clinical environment.
  • Emphasis will be on the dental assistant’s role in operative procedures and communication methods used within the dental health team.
