This is a comprehensive course designed to allow students to integrate, apply, and further develop previously acquired conceptual knowledge.
Including but not limited to patient management techniques, taking dental histories, and charting, moisture control, armamentarium operating.
Maintaining dental equipment and sterilization, fundamental aspects and skill sets of collaborative assisting at chair-side in a clinical environment.
Emphasis will be on the dental assistant’s role in operative procedures and communication methods used within the dental health team.
