With our Child, Family, and Community Support programs, you’ll be equipped to work with young children, families, and vulnerable groups. Whether you’re interested in becoming an education assistant, early childhood educator, professional counsellor, addictions worker, or community support worker, our programs prepare you for the industry ahead through hands-on learning and practicum experiences.
Establish your early childhood education (ECE) career with Sprott Shaw – one of British Columbia’s most recognized institutions for early childhood, special education, and community support training.
Start your ECE career as an assistant to get hands-on experience working in childcare with a certified early childhood educator by your side, or get started as an educator immediately with our Basic ECE program. Once you take our Basic program, you can return for the Post-Basic ECE program which includes specialized courses for infants, toddlers, and children with exceptionalities.
* Not all programs are available at all campuses.
