Student Ambassadors are enthusiastic student leaders who are passionate about their studies and the School, and want to share this passion with others. Working closely with the Employment Services Specialist, they participate and provide leadership around campus and community events.
- Assist with campus events, such as Career Fairs, Lunch and Learns, and etc.
- Meet new people, get involved, and be part of building a sense of community on campus
- Assist Admissions Advisors with guided tours of campus
- Share photos and videos from campus events and day-to-day student life
- Help collect Success Stories of current and graduating students
- Liaise with students and alumni – and assist new students around campus
The Ambassador will gain the following:
- Receive official recognition for your participation (Letter from Director)
- Boost your personal and professional skills
- Can be included on your resume/portfolio
Applicants for the Ambassador program must have the following:
- Must have excellent attendance
- Good attitude
- Hold a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Expected to work a few hours a month
- Be outgoing and a team player
- Must be endorsed by a Sprott Shaw College Staff Member
- Submit a completed application form to the Employment Services Specialist
