    relating to criminal law matters.
  • This course delves into the interpretation and application of the Criminal Code of Canada, along with relevant case law, statutes, and procedural rules. Students will develop a deep understanding of substantive criminal offences, procedural requirements, evidentiary rules, and the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders within the criminal justice system. You will complete a comprehensive criminal file that includes preparing retainer and pre-trial documents.
