This course provides a comprehensive overview of indigenous affairs and diversity issues within the
legal framework of British Columbia.
Students will explore the historical, cultural and legal contexts and contemporary surrounding Indigenous peoples’ rights and the importance of diversity in the legal profession. You will develop a deeper understanding of Indigenous legal traditions, contemporary issues facing indigenous communities, and strategies for promoting diversity and inclusion within the legal system.
