This course offers students with the understanding of basic reception tasks performed in a veterinary
hospital and in a shelter environment. It will also cover the subjects of euthanasia, adoptions, foster care, difficult clients, and billing clients.
The course will provide students with an understanding of the front reception area. NEO Idexx veterinary software is introduced and applied to veterinary office procedures; the software is integrated, into many future courses in the program as computer labs.
Hill’s Commit to Care Series staff will be presenting during this course where students will receive a certificate from Hill’s Pet Nutrition Canada.
