  • This course will provide veterinary assistants with a comprehensive understanding of common parasites affecting companion animals. Students will learn to identify, diagnose, and prevent parasitic infections, as well as understand the life cycles and zoonotic potential of various parasites.
  • The course will emphasize hands-on laboratory skills in fecal analysis, blood smear evaluation, and parasite identification.
