This course will introduce students to proper animal restraint techniques for routine medical procedures in feline, canine, pocket pets, rabbits, and other exotic animals.
Students will be also introduced to the history and principles of animal behaviour, evolutionary strategies, natural instincts, imprinting, behavioural cues, and different training methods.
Students will attend lab days and field trips to veterinary clinics, farms, or animal rescue centres.
