Sprott Shaw College

This course immerses students in the critical aspects of surgical assisting in a veterinary setting. Combining hands-on labs and theoretical lectures, students will develop expertise in pre- and postoperative care, anesthesia, surgical equipment, sterilization techniques, and aseptic protocol. By the end of the course, students will be proficient in preparing for and assisting in various surgical procedures, contributing to a safe and efficient surgical environment.
