  • Pre-requisite: PHRM201, PHRM210, PHRM211, PHRM212, PHRM213, PHRM214, PHRM215, PHRM216, PHRM217 Co-Requisites: PHRM220, PHRM226
  • Students will put to practice the techniques and skills learnt during PHRM215 (Theory of Community Pharmacy Practice). This includes the preparation of compounded medications (everything from accurate calculations to utilizing correct technique, while maintaining a clean workspace), the preparation of prescriptions using Kroll® while adhering to provincial legislation, and other various pharmacy technician roles, including, but not limited to, receiving verbal prescriptions, training of point-of-care devices, and patient interviewing.
