Sprott Shaw College

This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the role of paraprofessionals within the educational system of British Columbia, with a particular focus on supporting students with disabilities. Participants will gain foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary for effectively supporting educators and students, including those with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
Emphasis will be placed on understanding various types of disabilities, implementing inclusive practices, and addressing the unique challenges and opportunities that arise in educational settings.
