  • This course provides an in-depth exploration of intimate partner violence (IPV), a critical issue in both personal relationships and public health. Students will examine the dynamics of IPV, including its prevalence, causes, consequences, and impact on individuals, families, and communities. The course will also cover the legal, social, and psychological frameworks surrounding IPV, as well as strategies for prevention, intervention, and support for survivors. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical applications, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of IPV and its implications for human services professionals.
  • Students will also complete Trauma and Violence Informed Care Foundations modules through EQUIP Health Care.
