On occasion, general dental practitioners encounter circumstances that require them to refer patients to dental specialists.
Students will learn to assist with a variety of procedures performed in specialized dentistry such as endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, and pedodontics.
