  • This course introduces students to the entire process of a civil lawsuit, starting with the initial client interview and ending with the appeals process. The focus of this course is to familiarize students to specialized legal terminology; Provincial Statute Law and Regulations; Form and Rules of Court in BC, especially the Supreme Court Civil Rules and Alternative Dispute Resolution. It includes preparation of court documents and correspondence necessary to complete an entire file, Confidentiality and Client Management and current civil litigation specific technology.
