  • This course provides students with trades mathematical skills focused on a numeracy refresher, metric and imperial units of measurement, volume, area, perimeter, temperature, ratios, percentages, and solving various problems using formula applications to manipulate measurements with algebra. This allows a student to improve their abilities and gain confidence in mathematics as their practiced skills increase.
  • The course also provides the foundations in trigonometry, which is used for electrical theory, power factor correction, transformer calculations, circuit layout, three phase analysis, pipe bending, and angular construction in the electrical trade.
