This course explores the basic design and production principles of packaging, with emphasis on sustainability, material choice, form and function, and global manufacturing and shipping trends. Students will be required to propose design solutions that will take into account the choice of materials, environmental considerations, destination countries, and the aesthetics that will make packaging visually appealing and marketable.
