Sprott Shaw College

This course provides students with a foundation in veterinary medical terminology. Students learn the word parts of veterinary terminology and are introduced to several common prefixes, suffixes, roots and combining forms.
Students will learn how to break down medical terms into their constituent parts and how to extract word meaning.
Students begin building a veterinary medical vocabulary that will act as a foundation to be built on throughout their studies and career.
