  • Students will work under the direct supervision of the dentist in a general dental practice.
  • A licensed certified dental assistant (CDA) or a Chairside Dental Assistant will support the student’s experiential learning.
  • Students will apply and build on the skills learned in assisting chairside with instrumentation preparation and transfer, sterilization, infection prevention, and safety practices. Students will assist with office and patient management.
  • Pre-requisites: all courses from Semesters 1 and 2; DNTC195.
