I Wish I Did This 20 Years Ago!

I wish I did this 20 years ago! After many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator, I knew it was time to get into a field that was not so hard on the body. I started my program last July and it put me in the workforce at the perfect time. Upon graduation, I received 7 employer call-backs requesting job interviews!

I currently work at both Lodge on 4th in Ladysmith and Nanaimo Seniors Village. This job is incredibly fulfilling, I receive so much appreciation from residents and their family members. I take the time to get to know the residents and make an extra effort with personal attention to detail. My advice is, if you have a caring heart and want to make a difference, this is a very rewarding field to work in.
