I heard great things and was inspired to create a life I could be proud of.

It went very well, nice and simple.

What program did you choose and why?

I chose to become a Community Support Worker because I have lived experience, and it made sense to pursue something I truly love.

What was the environment like during your time at Sprott Shaw College?

It was amazing!

Where was your practicum or co-op and how was it?

The Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society (KAFS) and the Secwepemc Child and Family Services Agency (SCFSA). It was great.

How long did it take you to find a job after graduation?

Two weeks

Where do you work? Can you explain your duties?

I am a peer support crisis worker and usually deal with people in emotional distress, amongst other things, at the Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society.
