ECE Field Trip to Maplewood Farms

The New Westminster campus ECE class recently went on a field trip to the Maplewood Farm in North Vancouver. This is an animal farm where Day Care Centres and schools take their children to experience animals in an interactive setting. Our students learn and observe how children interact with animals. There was a cow milking demonstration where children experience how cows are milked and are able to pet the cow and feel the warmth of the bucket of milk the cow produced.
