What made you decide to get more education?
A lot has changed since I graduated from high school in 1982. I felt that to be able to compete in an environment where people ten years younger seem to have the advantage, I had to go back to school to contemporize my skill-set. Also, I realized that being in finance was not who I was and I desperately needed a career change to be able to follow my passion.
How did you find the Sprott Shaw experience?
I felt very at home at Sprott Shaw. The small class sizes made the learning process very personalized. It is not as intimidating as being in a class with hundreds. It’s definitely more hands-on as well.
