I Decided to Put a Professional Edge on my Work Experience

“Just over a year ago, I realized that I was unsatisfied with the progression of my career. Knowing that I had a background in the hospitality industry, I decided to put a professional edge on my work experience. The choice was easy Sprott-Shaw Community College. They offered a 1-year Tourism Hospitality Management Program that would give me all that I needed to give me that extra boost. I have now just graduated with honours, and within a week, I have had multiple job offers to work at resorts throughout BC and Alberta. I was able to actually choose where I would like to work. I chose The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise to work as a Royal Service Agent. This is an exciting opportunity as the availability for advancement lies around every corner. I leave to start my new career in a week and I owe it all to my instructors and the education I received through Sprott-Shaw Community College.”
