What should I do if I can’t hear the class or they can’t hear me?

If you have connected to a WebEx session and you cannot hear the class or they cannot hear you, please follow the instructions below.

A. In the main window, click the button with the three dots

B. In the windows that open, select the link for SPEAKER, MICROPHONE and CAMERA

C. In the next window

  1. If you cannot hear the class, use the pull-down to select the correct Speakers.  Click the Test button and you should hear a sound.  If you do not hear a test sound, then use the pull-down to select a different speaker.  If this doesn’t work contact live chat on the Sprott Shaw website.
  2. If the rest of the class cannot hear you, then use the pull-down to change your microphone.  When you are talking, the blue bars should advance across the screen.  If this does not work, use the pull-down to select a different microphone.  If this doesn’t work contact live chat on the Sprott Shaw website.
