We are always happy to hear our students share their experiences at Sprott Shaw College. Rebecca Kingston completed the Early Childhood Education Post-Basic program at our Downtown Vancouver campus and shared her success story with us and her career goals after graduation.
How was your program experience at Sprott Shaw?
“The program experience went well, and I’m happy with how things went. I had a very amazing host teacher. I love the center that I was at, and I’m going to miss them all a lot.”
How was the admissions process?
“Things with Alex, my advisor, were going well; he was very helpful during my practicum by sending me a check-in to see how I was doing, so I could start both practicums. I was able to start my CWE practical straight away.”
What are your plans for your career?
“As for my plans for my career, I’m going to continue to work with my mother at her daycare, and we’re going to open our doors to other practicum students. So, there is a safe place where they can do their infant, toddler, or special needs practicum.”
