It was easy.

What program did you choose and why?

I chose the medical office administration course, MOA are needed and is in high demand. Also the medical industry is growing and all areas are in need of more employees.

What was the environment like during your time at Sprott Shaw College?

All my classes were online. Personally, I would have preferred if classes were in person.

Where was your practicum or co-op and how was it?

My practicum was at the Canadian Pain & Regenerative Institute clinic. My time there was informative, and I immediately applied what I had learned.

How long did it take you to find a job after graduation?

I started looking for work during the last two weeks of my practicum, and I was hired a week before it finished.

Where do you work? Can you explain your duties?

My new job is at Revitalize Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic. In addition to scheduling appointments for the staff, I create patient charts, write letters and recommendations on behalf of the physiotherapists, and process claims for patients, including those from WSBC/ICBC.

You will gain a lot of knowledge and understanding from what you learn.
