I took HCA and our instructor Sherry H. did a fantastic job at making the load less overwhelming despite the amount of work that needed to be done in such a short amount of time. Despite all the stress and hiccups that happened with scheduling of our clinicals, and giving us the necessary information for the clinicals on a timely manner, the preceptorship has been enjoyable and good learning opportunity thanks to our clinical instructor Kiran K.
I enjoyed all learning experiences with my classmates and practicum opportunities with other healthcare employees. My instructor Sherry H. was amazing! After 43 years in returning to post secondary I was given every opportunity to be successful thru the support of my educator. Proudly I have achieve my certification as a Heath Care Assistant.

What Our Students Are Saying About Sprott Shaw New Westminster

Sprott Shaw ECE alumni Linda

“I would recommend the ECE programs at Sprott Shaw. I’d especially like to mention the New Westminster Campus for study. I think the curriculum was very practical and helpful for the students.”

“I was very impressed with the teachers, most of them if not all of them have been out in the field and working and had actual experience. So, I liked the idea of even smaller classrooms, good teachers, good atmosphere, and after doing the first program with Sprott Shaw, I realized that they will bend over backwards to help you if you need that help.”

“After I graduated from the Health Care Assistant program, my employers were really impressed with my education and the skills I had developed at Sprott Shaw New West. Since my first experience was so successful, it was easy to choose Sprott Shaw for my next career move.”
