We are honoured to introduce our 2023 valedictorian graduates from our campuses across Lower Mainland. Our graduates have gained valuable skills and benefits from our diverse and supportive learning spaces at Sprott Shaw College. Now, they are ready to embark on a new professional journey. Read about their personal insights and the journey that brought them to their accomplishment at Sprott Shaw College.
Veronica Dalisay, our Valedictorian guest speaker representing the East Vancouver campus spoke about finding inspiration, living by principles, and setting high standards for oneself. Quoting Oprah, she said, “the key to life is to develop an internal moral, emotional GPS that can tell you which way to go”.
Sujin Jung, our Valedictorian guest speaker representing the Downtown Vancouver campus, spoke about the benefits of learning in a diverse environment, the importance of having a positive outlook in life, and the power of building up self-esteem as individuals. “From the differences I could learn, how to accept diversity, and the thing in common that we were deeply passionate about; to make ourselves and families proud”.
Arshmeet Kaur, was our Valedictorian guest speaker representing the Richmond campus. Arshmeet spoke about the support received on campus and Sprott Shaw fulfilling its motto of learning with a purpose. “This place always encourages us to not only upscale our skill set but become a better version of ourselves and serve our communities exponentially.”
Preeti Kaur Nandda, our Valedictorian guest speaker representing the New Westminster campus, commemorated her family, friends, fellow graduates, and the staff at Sprott Shaw College for the constant support and motivation. “To our friends and family, thank you for all the sacrifices and compromises you made. To all the instructors and staff, thank you for answering our questions and solving our conflicts, and to our graduates, tonight is proof that you can and will accomplish great things”.
We thank our Valedictorians for sharing their experiences. They represent the spirit of Sprott Shaw College, a community that cares about personal growth, fosters a culture of quality, and commemorates the accomplishments of its graduates.
With hard work, dedication, and a strong support system, anything is possible. We are proud of our graduates’ achievements and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
