What program did you choose and why?
I chose community support worker program because it covered almost every aspect of community issues and there were many jobs available. I could serve the people of our community.
What was the environment like during your time at Sprott Shaw College?
It was a very friendly environment.
Where was your practicum or co-op and how was it?
I did my practicum at the Progressive Inter-cultural Services Society. I learnt a lot from the practicum.
Where do you work? Can you explain your duties?
I work at Milieu family services in the outreach department. I work one on one with people with various disabilities by including them in the community by taking them for outings.
If you could give advice to someone coming to Sprott Shaw, what would you say?
Sprott Shaw offered the best community support worker program.
