Sprott Shaw College now offers Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® Training


Sprott Shaw College is proud to announce the addition of Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® Training into its Practical Nursing, Health Care Assistant and Community Support Worker – Social Services curriculum. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training, a specialized offering of the Crisis Prevention Institute©, focuses on prevention and offers proven strategies for safely defusing anxious, hostile, or violent behaviour at the earliest possible stage. This seminar program is included in a selected few of our diploma programs and will help you to organize your thinking on how behaviour escalates and how to respond appropriately during moments of chaos. Please note that this training will not be available as a standalone course.
