PTIB Institution Number: 182
All courses are taught in English, and therefore, a proficiency in the English language is required for enrolment in all Sprott Shaw College (SSC) programs.
Unless otherwise stated, applicants with a high school diploma, earned in any province or jurisdiction in Canada where English is the language of instruction, will meet the language requirement. For programs that allow, mature applicants educated in Canada (minimum age of 19 years with one or more years out of high school), and who do not have evidence of the required high school transcript, will need to successfully write SSC’s entrance assessment for English.
In addition to, and separate from, the above conditions, there are a number of SSC programs that have a specific English grade and level requirement for entrance. For any language requirement not met (e.g. internationally-educated, English education not in an English-language setting), equivalents may be accepted and are listed on the specific program outline.
