WebEx is a video conferencing platform that allows us to maintain remote “face-to-face” structured classes that are 100% instructor-led. These virtual classes create an interactive learning experience for our students in the safety and security of their own homes.
Our smaller WebEx class sizes offer you more attention and support from our instructors and allow us to maintain the high quality of education we have strived for over the last 117 years.

Once you inquire with us, we will call you to set up a phone interview with an Admissions Advisor. They will answer your questions and confirm you have the prerequisites required for your program of choice. Once you have made your decision, you can use our online admissions application to start the registration process.
Yes, some practicums are still available if you so choose. Options vary by program and campus. Some locations are offering remote practicums, others are open but practicing social distancing. This is a dynamic situation and availability may change, please discuss your practicum options with your Admissions Advisor.
WebEx is a video conferencing platform that allows us to maintain virtual “face-to-face” structured classes that are 100% instructor-led. These remote classes create an interactive learning experience for our students in the safety and security of their own homes.
While both alternative learning methods are on WebEx, they aren’t exactly the same.
Asynchronous WebEx Delivery is self-paced learning and essentially, not live. You don’t need to log in at the same time everyday and you can learn at your own pace.
On the other hand, Synchronous WebEx Delivery is not self-paced. With this, you will need to log in at the same time everyday and mark your attendance.
- Wired Internet connection. DO NOT USE WIFI unless a last resort. If you usually use WIFI get a long network cable and plug it directly into your Internet Access point.
- A computer with 8 Gb of RAM and a quad core processor is recommended.
- 4GB of RAM and lower processor can be used if required.
- Web Camera – with laptops they can use the built in camera.
- Please make sure drivers are loaded and it is operating correctly to ensure the web camera is enabled
- Contact Mike at Profusion if you need cameras for your desktop computers
- Head Set with Mic – RECOMMENDED – DO NOT USE THE BUILT IN MIC AND SPEAKERS
- The built in mic and speakers are not good enough quality and you will have problems communicating with the instructor
- Contact your instructor if this is going to be a problem to find a solution
- If you have a problems with your video pausing or intermittent sound, disable your video and reconnect it

The WebEx platform can be used in one of two ways. Either as a desktop application or as an internet application that will open once you launch an invitation.
