Stationed in the heart of Chilliwack, the Sprott Shaw Chilliwack campus is home to stunning mountain views and valley vistas near the banks of the Fraser River.
Conveniently accessible by vehicle and public transit, this campus is located near major bus routes and has abundant parking available. Nearby you can find several restaurants, shopping destinations, the public library, and the magnificent Salish Park.

I am a Mental Health and Addictions Care Worker student at Sprott Shaw Chilliwack and I absolutely love it! The staff are amazing, helpful, friendly, caring and so supportive..looking forward to all the upcoming events and activities!! The program is intense but, very rewarding!!
Chilliwack Sprott Shaw college is a great school. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The instructors are knowledgeable and passionate about their students.

As a current student at Sprott Shaw College, I have to say I’m really enjoying my experience so far! The instructors are not only knowledgeable but also approachable and always willing to help. They make learning engaging and apply real-life examples that make the material easier to understand.
The classes are small, which allows for more personalized attention, and I’ve made some great connections with my classmates. The campus facilities are well-maintained, and the resources available, like the library and study areas, are super helpful for staying on top of my studies.
I also appreciate the career services—they’re proactive about helping us find internships and job opportunities, which is a huge plus! Overall, I feel supported and motivated here, and I’m excited about what the future holds. Highly recommend Sprott Shaw to anyone considering their programs!

It has been 30 years since I graduated from high school, and the thought of returning to school felt exciting, but also very over-whelming. I struggle with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and some mental health issues, including OCD, and my (late in life)diagnosis of ADHD. I am Neuro-Spicy 🔥 I am also very fortunate to have the support from 3 amazing women; Britni Hannah (Campus Director), Shannon Banks (Admissions Advisor), and Shawn O'Donnell (ECE Instructor/Practicum Coordinator). It is with their positive guidance, kindness, and creative solutions that I am able to navigate my way through the ups and downs of returning to school. I look forward to continuing my journey into the field of Early Childhood Education, knowing that I have the support that I need.
I have not been there very long, but my experience so far has been wonderful and engaging. The college leadership fosters a culture of empathy, and students are supported and treated with respect. Faculty is knowledgeable, but more importantly, one gets exposed to lots of practical experience in the course of learning, ensuring that you are ready for the workplace by the time you graduate. I would highly recommend Sprott Shaw to anyone who is interested in truly being set up for success by graduation.
I am close to graduating from Sprott Shaw and it has been an amazing experience so far. The financial advisor is absolutely incredible. She is a great listener and is always there to listen, even if she is busy. The director is amazing and definitely will go above and beyond to ensure educational needs are met. All of the staff there has been welcoming and it's an extremely supportive enviornment. My instructor is well educated, knowledgeable and ensures we all get the most out of our educational experience. 10/10, I would absolutely reccomend! I cant express enough how welcome I have felt here.
As a person faced with a mid- life change of vocations, Sprott-Shaw provided me with the encouragement, confidence along with the knowledge and skills to make the transition not only successful but fun and exciting as well. I am forever grateful that I chose Sprott-Shaw. Sprottshaw is unique to other campuses because of how tight knit everyone is. I love the small classroom aspect so it is easier to connect with people.
I absolutely love Chilliwack Sprott Shaw campus, all of the staff is so welcoming and amazing, I've only been in school a few months now but it has been such an amazing experience. I love walking in and sewing Robin peak over her desk and greet me! Shannon is so helpful with literally everything on the planet. Need an ear, she's there. No judgement ever. Plus you can't beat the class sizes!
I love the small class structure because it gives our instructor more time to focus on each student. When the staff shows they want you to succeed and care about your future, it sure makes it feel like family. I'm so glad I chose Sprott Shaw.
Shannon has gone above and beyond what I would expect from an Admissions Advisor. From the moment she reached out to me via phone she has been an absolute delight to work with.
When I first initially met with her on campus, she was very helpful with me deciding which program to go with as I was bouncing between two. Her knowledge with both programs helped me better decide which one would be the best fit for me. Her dedication to staying in touch with me during a rough admissions phase, helped me know that Sprott Shaw is the College I am meant to move forward with.
She is more then just her title; she is an extreme asset to the campus. She sits and listens to exactly what the potential student is looking for in their future career and knows the proper path for them to take to make that possible. Her customer service towards any person who walks through the door is exceptional. I appreciated that whenever I needed help with anything she made it possible that that day, she would help me with it. There was a moment that I did not understand a certain document, went straight onto campus, and she was able to stop what she was doing to help explain this letter for me to understand.
I’m currently a student in the Addictions Worker Diploma Program offered at the Chilliwack campus. My experience with Sprott Shaw College has been great so far! From the very first day that I met Dianne Mckay and Shannon Banks – they have been tremendously and genuinely supportive, resourceful, and encouraging towards mine and my peers’ education. The same can be said for our AWD instructor, Cyril Lecuyer. The staff have been remarkably flexible and accommodating in most situations (unfortunately, some things are simply above their authority), and I am incredibly happy with the education I have received at this time.
The campus is clean and bright, classrooms have wifi, projectors, whiteboards, etc. The class sizes enable each student more time for questions and discussions with the instructors. Overall, this has been a positive educational experience for me and I highly recommend to anyone to consider studying at Sprott Shaw as well. Good people.

Our Chilliwack College is located at 45860 Cheam Avenue, Chilliwack, BC, V2P 1N6, just a few blocks east of Chilliwack Proper Village West.
Located on the corner of Cheam Avenue and Birch Street, the campus is easily accessible from the Yale Road exit off Highway 1 and has plenty of available parking.
The campus’s central location in the city of Chilliwack also makes it easily accessible by public transportation. The 51, 52, 54 and 66 bus routes all stop within a short walk from our doors.

Kristy S – Early Childhood Education (ECE)
After completing my Early Childhood Education (ECE) training and education I worked in a variety of programs – from home childcare, 3 to 5 care, one-on-one support, infant and toddler care, and even as a manager for a YMCA preschool program. I moved into teaching the ECE Certificate and Diploma program 11 years ago.
Debra H – Health Care Assistant (HCA)
As a two-time former mature student from Sprott Shaw, I am proof of the kind of inspiration that dedicated instructors can inspire. I bring with me over 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry. As a Health Care Assistant (HCA) instructor, my mandate is to ensure compassionate, dignified, and respectful care to vulnerable residents in the community.
Dianne M – Strategies for Student Success (SSS)
I have over 16 years of teaching in the private education sector and have been with Sprott Shaw since 2018. I worked for many years on and off as a Medical Office Assistant and decided to go back to school in 2003. I received my Diploma in both Medical Office Assistant and Pharmacy Technician Assistant. Besides teaching the Medical office program, I have taught Pharmacy, Intro Business modules, Computer programs, as well as all of the start week programs. I am currently the Employment Services Specialist.
